A new wastewater treatment plant in Pompano, Texas, has opened up a wastewater treatment system for wastewater from the Pompanoes wastewater treatment facility, which is currently being used for storm water.
The wastewater treatment is designed to remove contaminants from wastewater, including toxic compounds, that have been used in storm water treatment plants and to provide the opportunity to treat wastewater for other uses, such as agriculture.
The plant is designed for two types of wastewater treatment: one for storm and one for non-storm.
The Pompane plant will have up to 1,500 workers to handle wastewater from both storm and non- storm wastewater, which will be used for agricultural use.
“It’s really an enormous opportunity for the state of Texas to be able to provide services that are as good or better than what they currently have, and to be better able to serve our customers,” said Steve Nogier, Pompania’s director of wastewater.
The facility is one of two facilities in Texas that will offer wastewater treatment in both non- and storm water, according to the state’s Department of Water Resources.
The other plant, at the Dallas Water Works, also will offer both storm water and non storm treatment.
The other facility is at a facility in the Rio Grande Valley, which also serves a number of agricultural and other businesses.
The cost of the plant will be $1.5 billion, and the project will be funded by a federal grant.
In addition to the wastewater treatment work, the facility will also be home to a new facility to handle storm water in the future, according the state.
The two plants are expected to produce an estimated 1,200 barrels of wastewater a day, the state said.
Pompano Mayor Tom Bredesen says the city is thrilled with the announcement.
“This plant is an excellent example of how a local community can work together to provide clean water to the entire state of Pompanas, and we are pleased that we will be able provide that service to our community,” Bredsen said.
“We’ve always been a small city and we’re going to continue to work with the POMPANO City Council, the city of Pomona and the City of Austin, as well as the Pomanias Public Utilities Commission, to make sure that we’re delivering that water service to the citizens of Pomerania,” he added.
